Hi All,

I am doing a tour with that instrumentation. Playing solos and various configurations of those instruments. Does anybody know of any music written for that combination (unlikely) or any shakuhachi/pipa or shakuhachi/erhu duets?

Exclamation

Ciao BR

Interesting instrumentation!
I have never seen any composed music for these combinations...
I know Phil Gelb in the US plays quite often with a pipa player... perhaps he knows something.

It is very hard to find combo. Even Xiao which have similar tonality don't go with pipa or erhu. Normally play with Guqin.

Still can be found:

For text, it is very hard to find. Even I study Chinese traditional music before. It is very hard to find duet of different class of instruments.
