|Posted on behalf of the Japanese Cultural Day:
To whom its may concern
We would be very honoured to have the Japanese music instrument players at the Japanese Cultural Day that we are planning in support of victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami on
Saturday, 14th May 2011 at 3pm.
We have kindly been offered the use of Livingstone House, home of the Livingstone Centre for Spirituality and the Arts in Bromley (South East Of London)
In the morning we will hold various 'workshops' that provide hands-on experience of Japanese culture: origami, tea ceremony, food and dress, amongst other activities.
From 3pm we begin an entertainment programme, at this stage of the day, to show our solidarity with and concern for those Japanese people who have been affected by the recent disaster.
We expect a full-capacity audience of around 120 people, but many more will be attending throughout the day.
I wish very much that you could come to perform for this good cause.
I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
