Hi everybody,
I've got a 1.8 shakuhachi for sale. Any questions please let me know.
Maker: OUSHU
Length: 1.8 (pitch D)
Price: £ 900 / Euro 1000
Quality used jiari shakuhachi flute. Japanese madake bamboo by Japanese maker, originally bought at Mejiro shop in Tokyo. Kinko utaguchi with silver inlay. Easy to play, even and good volume and can take a lot of air/breath without troubles. Suitable for e.g. honkyoku, sankyoku and improvisation.
Two professional bindings either side of hole five due to old small crack, but stable ever since bound many years ago and does not effect sound in any way. Root end and attractive bamboo colourings/markings. Maybe ideal for beginner/intermediate player. Includes utaguchi cap and cloth bag.
