I'm happy to announce that I am able to be in Germany and Italy in June offering two camps and private lessons. Each camp will be two days long: sat. & sun. All levels and people from all schools of shakuhachi are welcome. We will definitely be studying honkyoku and spending much time on how to produce the variety of sounds needed for Watazumi/Yokoyama style playing. I am open to requests if you have certain songs you would like to learn. We can study Minyo and modern pieces as well. I will not be spending time on sankyoku this trip. Where: Ludwigshafen, Germany When: June 8: Private Lesson Day. $55./hr. You may request as many hr. As you like. One full day is $350. Camp Date: June 9 & 10 ( sat/sun). Sat.9:00am~5:00pm with lunch break. Sat. Night is "open mic" night with duets. Sun.: 9:00am~4:00pm with lunch break.
