Is the music stored in the tank?
And the player is just "the channel"?
Is that liquid or gas in the tank?

Or is the tank just charging the the head of the player with imagery and thoughts, while the person is playing?
Or is the person playing and because of that filling up the tank with something?

I agree, great picture. Mort de Rire

In the same way, I use to play in a bucket I hold between my knees which provides deeper tones.
Maybe I can put the picture here and, going farther, we can ALL put funny pictures of us shooted in weird situation, position while playing.

Hmmm.. Let me have a go at it...even though I am not sure I will do justice to the sentence Arrow

The one who lives without craziness is not as wise as he thinks...

"Folie" I would normally translate with craziness but there is also a slight touch of extravaganza (which I like in the context of this picture!) and also madness. Okay

Lots of thanks Kiku Day! It was exactly THIS word I couldn't translate in order to respect the meaning of the sentence. You are right when you say that "extravaganza" fits the context of the picture. So is the quotation (yes, did I mentioned it? This is a quotation but I do not know who was wise enough to tell that).
Let's put extravaganza in our lives...

I think that "craziness" is more like a "psychiatric" term. It could afraid some of us Laughing

I will finish here with these considerations, it is not the subject of the topic, right?

It's always a case of yin and yang... I think in this sense "folie" must be understood simply as the opposite of wisdom. A mixture of instinct, inconsistency, improvisation, inner connection with the feelings... So important in music ...

Thanks for your comment, it puts a new light on this quotation's understanding in my mind. An accurate thought...

And maybe can we say that because of this interconnexion (=>Yin and Yang (which is related to confucianism?) ) "folie" can also be understood as wisdom itself... Like a poison and its cure both have the same base... Very interesting.
