Hi everyone,

The May edition of the ESS newsletter needs your help!

The ESS are constantly developing its involvement with members through the ESS website, social media and publications. For this reason, we have decided to provide some guidelines.

Information for the newsletter

Articles about the shakuhachi
Short news items (around 100 words)
Information about summer schools or courses
CD/concert/event reviews

Please note that the following information/formats will NOT be accepted for the newsletter:

tour details
pdfs of posters
biographies of performers
programmes of concerts
details of events outside Europe (unless major events like WSF)

Instead we recommend the ESS Shakuhachi Forum, ESS Facebook page, Twitter and the calendar on the ESS website. For the calendar on the ESS website, please send to info@shakuhachisociety.eu, not to individual committee members. Please restrict to the following information:

Title of event:
Date:
Time:
Venue:
Short description:
Website link:

The European Shakuhachi Society is now on Twitter! Follow us to know forthcoming shakuhachi and related events in Europe!

@ESS_Events

If you like an event to be announced on Twitter, please send a message (less than 140 characters please!) to : twitter@shakuhachiforum.eu

Again, please let me know if you are willing to translate. We would like translations into Spanish, German, French and English. Translations into other languages will be possible if time permits.

The deadline for submission will be Wednesday, May 15.
