£400, Collection in person only from London or South England. This shakuhachi is an excellent flute for beginners and up to intermediate levels. It has a warm sound and the tuning is great, is light to hold and is made out of very beautiful torachiku bamboo.

ebay link with photographs: ebay . co . uk / itm / 163764852979 (delete the spaces - for some reason I can't submit this post if it includes links or photographs!)
listen to the sound: youtu . be / nR7k65NpONA (delete the spaces)

Made by Monty Levenson (Tai Hei Shakuhachis) of Shakuhachi . com, the flute is this listing on his catalogue: shakuhachi . com / AT-18-534 . html (remove spaces)

This was purchased a few years ago, and is in immaculate condition and very well looked after.

It comes with a Tai Hei padded shakuhachi cover (which has a layer of plastic in between the fabrics to maintain humidity), and a custom made black leather utaguchi (mouthpiece cover), as pictured.

Selling for £400 as I am looking to move on to a more advanced shakuhachi. Serious offers will be considered, as I am more interested to see this flute go to a good home than to just sell it on.

I am based in London and would be happy to meet up if you want to have a try. I would want to make sure you are satisfied with the instrument you are purchasing, and would strongly advise to try it out in person before purchasing. I occasionally travel around the South of England for work, and would consider arranging a meeting elsewhere if it worked out logistically.

If you have any further questions please let me know and I can take more pictures or answer any more inquiries! Smile
